Many local programs lean too far in one direction—either free play with little structure, or structured art that feels too advanced.
Studio Norii bridges that gap with age-specific programs that keep play at the center while supporting real growth.
The name Norii (놀이) means “play” in Korean.
We believe play is the most natural and powerful way for children to explore, express, and grow.
Studio Norii is an official Seattle partner of Noljak Edu, a Seoul-based early childhood education company.
Built on Proven Programs
Studio Norii is an official Seattle partner of Noljak Edu, a Seoul-based company specializing in early childhood creative education.
Noljak Edu first developed Noljak My Art for children ages 5+, focusing on creative expression through hands-on art experiences.
In 2025, CreKiC (pronounced “kuh-kee-kuh" or "크키크") was introduced for younger children (ages 3–5), with a focus on sensory, emotional, and language development through guided play.
At Studio Norii, we begin with CreKiC as our core program for children ages 3-5.
Over time, we are expanding to include Noljak My Art for ages 5+, along with parent-child programs for children under 3.

What Makes Us Different
The Heart Behind Studio Norii
- Shinhye Lee, PhD
Director
Hi, I’m Shinhye, the director of Studio Norii.
With a background in language development and as a parent, I’ve always been curious about how young children learn — not just what they learn, but how they experience the world.
As I was raising my own three-year-old in Lynnwood, I often found myself searching for programs that felt truly age-appropriate — especially during the long, rainy seasons here in Seattle.
Studio Norii is my way of creating the kind of space I was looking for as a parent.
I hope it becomes a place where children can explore, express, and grow — and where families feel comfortable and welcome.
